IMPORTANT: If you decide to go to Israel with us, make the FIRST THING you do after booking to email Pam and get on the HSM list. The more we have in our group, the more we will be able to do together as a private tour.

1. Will we be traveling as a group? No, not exactly. You will book like any other cruise, including your own air and pre-cruise hotel in Athens, if you choose to do that. We are happy to share our plans if you want to coordinate, but the first "official" time we will be together as a "group" is on the ship.
2. How will we connect with you once on board? If you decide to book this cruise, please notify us so we can plan to get together no later than the first sea day. We will make sure you know where and when we are meeting.
3. Will we book shore excursions together for Israel? YES, and those will be for our group only if possible--it depends on how many people have let us know they are coming with us.
4. Will we have a private guide for our tours? Yes, IF we are able to book as a private group, depending on the number joining us.
5. Will Pam be teaching us or will it be someone we don't know? BOTH. We will have an Israeli guide and Pam will be supplementing with special Biblical lessons.
6. Will the teaching be Christian or Jewish? Christian. Israeli tour guides are prepared to lead Christian groups--that's who comes to the Holy Land. Plus, you will have Pam to be certain we talk faithfully about JESUS!!
7. Will we be staying in hotels or on the ship? On the ship--which increases the safety and security of the trip significantly. You will spend every night on the ship and eat every meal on the ship, with the exception of lunches on some tour days.
8. Will the tours be customized for our group? YES, if we have enough to plan for a private group of our own.
9. What is included in the price quoted by Azamara for the cruise? Your cruise, your food on the ship, wine at lunch and dinner, bottled water and sodas, gratuities for cruise staff.
10. What is not included in the price quoted by Azamara? Round trip flights to Athens, transfers from Athens airport to hotel and/or pier, pre-cruise hotel in Athens, tour excursions, travel insurance, incidentals (souvenirs, tips for tour guides).
WHY YOU SHOULD GO: You have only FIVE tour days--something manageable for most of us, even at this age. You will see the most important Christian sites in Israel during those five days. You will sleep safely and securely in your ship cabin each night. You will eat gourmet food on the ship each evening. You will receive Pam's Biblical teaching each tour day in addition to your Israeli guide's information. And, hopefully, you will be with just our group as you tour, keeping you as healthy as possible. Should you have any health issues while traveling, you will have access to the ship's medical facility and doctors.
